The following is documentation for the MSWorks macros
found under the settings directory of JFW.

User documentation for MSWorks version 3.0 (6-20-96 jsr)

Most JAWS MSWorks functions work well with JAWS by
themselves (with this macro file). That is, Very few
"special" keys are necessary to memorize. There are no
special JAWS keys specific to most of the functions.
However, the following functions DO have a few "special"
items:

1.	Control+R reads the record number in the DataBase.

2.	Control+A reads the page number in the Word processor

3.	The cursor movement (arrow, etc.) keys are adapted
(automatically) for the spreadsheet portion of Works.
when you move to a cell, you will be given the cell
coordinate as well as the contents (if any). There is a
formula calculating the result if the word "is" is
spoken right after the cell position (see next).

4.	In the SpreadSheet section, doing a SpellWord (Pressing
Insert+Number Pad 5 twice within a half a second), the
formula will be read instead of the results of that
    formula.

5.	After doing a Find, refresh the screen (Insert+Escape).

6.	To read Dialog box messages the "Pop-up" & don't speak
    to you automatically, press Shift+control+DownArrow.

7.	In the Thesaurus:

To get the specified word to read in context, you first
have to select (highlight) it. If not, the thesaurus
will still work but the Read Word in context feature of
JFW will not. It will give you a message like
"Highlighted word not found". Also, if reading the word
in context gives you partial words or the like, you have
the thesaurus dialog box on top of the context. You
need to move the dialog box down so that the context can
be seen. To do that just:

    a. Route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor
    b. Page Up
    c. Home
    d. Next word
    e. lock the left mouse button
    f. do 3 down arrows
    g. unlock the left mouse button (this will actually do
the move) Now you can do the reading in context
        normally.

8.	When you have several MSWorks documents open at once,
the program has a tendency to not respond correctly. For
example, when you open another MSWorks document or
switch to one of many, the program may not announce what
it is. In that case, JAWS can "freshen" the new
document when you press the Insert+. (insert .) key
combination. This will take care of the situation for
    you.

Suggestion: Turn off the cue cards. Also, in the
spreadsheet portion, turn off the grid lines (View menu).
It works better that way.
